Yamaha U2 Pro Upright Piano. Full 50" in height makes this 2" taller than the U1 and 2" shorter than the U3. These pianos were primarily marketed to Europe to compete with the popular 50" uprights from Germany and other countries at the time. A very popular piano with a huge bass and singing treble allows for unapparelled expression for all kinds of music. The U2 was in production for several decades before being discontinued in the 1980's. Yamaha then went with all 'odd' number U series...U1, U3, U5 and U7. The U series are Yamaha's top line uprights. Made in Japan in their Hamamatsu factory this piano comes with an adjustable bench. Soundboards are solid spruce and the action is velvety smooth! Middle pedal has the 'Quiet Play' feature allows for very quiet playing, a really great feature for late night playing or to practice without annoying those around you! If still in production retail price would be close to $14K. Here is an additional link to the Yamaha U2 piano: https://yamahaden.com/u2-yamaha-piano/ Click on pic for full view!
