Yamaha U3 professional upright manufactured in Japan in 1983. The 80's were a fabulous decade for Yamaha and Kawai as both companies were competing for best in class for their instruments. This U3 is in near mint condition and was hardly played. Action, keys, solid spruce soundboard and bridges are all in excellent condition. A really nice upright that fits perfectly in homes, teaching studios, recording studios for the discriminating pianist. Very balanced feel and tone to match. These U series from Yamaha are real work horses and have held up extremely well. Piano technicians love working on them. They hold tune very well!
