I discovered Goheen Piano through an internet search when our electric piano started having some issues. Fred was very prompt in his response to my request and flexible with my very busy schedule to plan a house visit to take a look at our piano. He worked diligently on repairing our very complicated problem and gave me honest and professional advice that I trusted and valued. We were on the search for a regular piano that was a great starter piano for our three young children. Fred assisted us with removing the old digital piano and bringing us a beautifully restored Story & Clark console piano on a trade-in agreement. He is extremely knowledgeable in his expertise. Being a complete novice when it comes to pianos, I feel absolutely lucky to have stumbled upon Fred Goheen and Goheen Pianos.  From the first conversation I had with Fred, I knew I found a real professional, for Fred’s knowledge of pianos is vast and helpful.  He sized up my situation quickly and made very accurate recommendations.    He was patient and kind with my lack of knowledge and experience, and by the end of that discussion, I was pleased to be dealing with an honest, dependable person.  After numerous calls and questions that followed, not only had I learned so much, but I was able to make sound decisions with confidence.  When Fred and his affable son Matt delivered the piano, they were capable, determined and careful when working around the limitations of my small house, narrow doorways and restricted floor space.  They spent so much time with me, making sure all was fine before leaving.  Since that day, Fred has serviced my piano, and scheduling that appointment was simple because he was completely accommodating to my needs.  It was as if I were his only customer!  I don’t live close to Berthoud, but that was no concern to Fred.
